Art from The Heart @ The Pavilions Phuket

Last Friday 15 June, The Pavilions Phuket held a launch party with Brazilian-born artist Leticia Vaz Marques, showcasing her “Emotion of the Ocean” exhibition at the resort’s Firefly Restaurant. To mark the opening, invited guests enjoyed a specially curated selection of ocean-inspired canapés by Chef Belinda, and a live acoustic performance by Tess Wolgemuth.

All the paintings were inspired by Leticia’s concern for the marine environment. Guests at The Pavilions Phuket and diners at Firefly can buy the artworks with a percentage of each sale donated to the Phuket Hotels Association’s campaign to keep the island’s beaches and oceans free of plastic.
