Executive Chef of Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort, Sumol Hirunmal (or famously known as Chef Bird) started his culinary career at Bistro Bar Thonglor, Bangkok. He joined the Marriott family in 2007 at JW Marriott Bangkok followed by a pre-opening experience at Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong in 2009.
In 2013, Chef Bird was given the unique opportunity to move to Chicago to work for The Royal Thai Consulate General. During his tenure at The Royal Thai Consulate in Chicago, Chef Bird developed exceptional organisational skills and dedicated his time to world class standards and cooking excellence.
Chef Bird had the honour to work for several high profile personalities, including Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and the Royal Crew.
After his successful experience in Chicago, Chef Bird came back to Thailand where he joined the Marriott family again as Executive Sous Chef at JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa. In his most recent position as Executive Sous Chef at Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa, Chef Bird improved total food quality and created a successful culinary team driving some of the highest scores in the region.
There is no doubt that Chef Bird will bring his rich experience to the Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort and help to make the hotel as successful as he has done in his previous roles.
