Sugar & Spice Restaurant at Sugar Inn
At the end of August, I had the opportunity to do a menu tasting at Sugar & Spice Restaurant at Sugar Inn, Kata Beach and let me tell you, the food was fantastic! Authentic Thai favorites all made fresh on site, featuring a myriad of delicious flavors and a good amount of spiciness (which I like).
The marinade for the grilled chicken was perfect, the Khao Soi one of the best I've had, the curries were rich, and both salads - a papaya salad and corn salad - were super zesty. Also, the Phad Thai was loaded with jumbo prawns. Seriously, such good food.
The restaurant closed for 18 months due to Covid, but has now reopened. If you love authentic Thai food, drop in and show them your support, PhuketFoodies. The staff and owner are lovely, and the menu is varied ... prices are good as the portions are plentiful.
The restaurant doesn't disappoint, and I'm already looking for a free day when I can go back and eat that Khao Soi again!
