Calling all Khao Soi lovers

From the outside, the unsuspecting Coconuts Café looks like a regular place but once you walk past the entrance and up the steps into the whimsical cafe – you may find yourself stopping to stare and look around inside, thinking .. wow. I know I did. Pretty decorations and rustic vibes – all done by the owner herself – sets the mood for a serene dining experience. Great spot if you need a break from the daily grind, get some quiet me-time here.

This café offers homely breakfast and delicious Thai dishes. We had

  • Khao Soi Chicken
  • Fried Rice with Shrimp Paste
  • Coconuts Breakfast
  • Iced Latte
  • Fresh Orange Juice
  • Pot of Peach Tea

What made their Khao Soi shine was the savory curry broth, flavorful yet not too thick with chicken that came right off the bone! From what I heard and read online, seems this is one of the best you can find here in Phuket. Now that I’ve eaten it myself - I second the high praises. if there’s anything I’m coming back for, its for this.

The Coconut Breakfast was a hearty plate, if you’re feeling up for the usual breakfast platter - this is your go-to.

I ordered the fried rice with shrimp paste because the menu picture looked very pretty, and I wanted to see if it tasted as good as it looks. It did 100%. The smell of the shrimp paste could be overpowering for some – but I love it and don’t mind it.

My verdict? Come for the view, and be impressed by the food. Good and reasonable prices, and it will be a wonderful experience.
