Situated in the heart of bustling Boat Avenue, just round the corner from Tinlay Place and Laguna Phuket, Little Paris Phuket serves up heaped plates of rustic home-style French cooking, with menu offerings of Italian favourites and authentic Thai classics thrown in for good measure.
Little Paris Phuket features a contemporary design with modern interiors. The restaurant boasts an “oh so French” atmosphere and is a restaurant of choice for expats in the neighbourhood. Colourful overstuffed chairs and sleek dining tables are well-appointed inside the restaurant, and there’s an outdoor veranda for those who enjoy open-air seating.
Mario Ninotta is the owner of Little Paris Phuket. A chef graduate of the prestigious CIFA Jean Lameloise culinary school, he has a keen appreciation for French cuisine and fine art. He first visited Phuket for a holiday in 2015, and by the end of his trip fell in love with the island.
He contacted an estate agent, signed a contract for two connected shop units in Boat Avenue, and came back the following year with an interior designer. Little Paris Phuket opened its doors on 1 December 2016 and takes pride in using only the highest quality ingredients to create its exceptional dishes. While extremely popular for breakfast, the restaurant is one of the area’s best destinations for lunch and dinner.
Menu favourites include the Little Paris Signature, an appetizer board of baked Brie cheese with truffles, Paris ham, Parma ham, roasted potatoes and pickles. The Healthy Signature, off the small vegetarian menu, is a concoction of fresh veggies including beetroot, avocado, and pumpkin mixed with organic chia seeds and feta cheese. It’s a fresh, light dish perfect for Phuket’s hot days. Other menu items include stacked sandwiches, simple soups, and hearty dishes of meats and fish.
Little Paris Phuket is open daily from 8:30am - 11:00pm, and there’s plenty of parking on-site.
