All That Jazz, The Night Brunch at The Pavilions Phuket
‘Brunch’ is all the rage these days, right? But scoring what must be a first, Firefly at The Pavilions in Layan recently hosted the island’s first night-time ‘brunch’, billed as “All that Jazz”.
An impressive Mediterranean-themed buffet, crafted by Chef Belinda, included a variety of live cooking stations, some interesting breads and a notable cheese table – and much more, of course.
What about all that jazz? The ever popular Eka, backed by a bunch of inspiring island musicians, entranced the capacity crowd – and this writer too – with a wide range of cool tunes, from slow ’n easy to slightly more up-tempo.
Good food, mood music and a pleasant poolside setting. What’s not to like?
