Where to Eat in Phuket
The Bistro

From a tasteful atmosphere that lends to a casual and sophisticated dining experience, to the variety of International and Thai food that is well prepared and an evening out becomes one of surprises and treats. Throw in the ambition to be distinct from other dining venues and a very pleasing result is an innovative menu of delights that provide tremendous culinary experiences.

The Bistro is a stylish place to dine and relax that exemplifies that extra touch of something special. Located in the Lakeside wing of the Millennium Resort, a six storey hotel in front of Jungceylon, this place to dine is a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of Patong – for lunch or dinner or to relax with a drink in the bar and lounge area. Like the hotel it is situated in, the restaurant boasts a modern and classy design. Tablecloths and seatings of couches and chairs make for a pleasant and comfortable meal in the bright, open environment.

That change and transition as well as warm hospitality and good service keep guests returning time and time again is a well known fact to restaurateurs. From the old to the new, a menu of gratifying dishes prepared and served by The Bistro team awaits the diner.

The Chick Pea and Goat Cheese offers a journey into the unique combination of ingredients, tastes and textures of the array of foods. Breaded and deep fried goat cheese served on a salad make for a refreshing starter. The Lentil Soup, part of the restaurant’s ‘new menu’, is a tantalizing creamy blend of primarily Indian spices.

Not to be forgotten from the not to distant past, is a favourite of many, the Rack of Lamb. Served with darphin potatoes, dry fruit confit and gravy, this meat dish is not only a ravishing display but is magnificent to the taste.

Fine wines and decadent desserts are true complements to a meal and The Bistro has a great selection of both. International flavours of white and reds are favourites with any dish of a meal while the Rasperry Mousse with its layers of pink and red is a sweet to savour.

A taste of something unique and different is to be had at The Bistro. With a fresh approach to food, attention detail and friendly service, The Bistro is an outstanding choice for a meal out.
