What followed was the main event: prime choices from the grill! Sam’s Pepper Steak sliced as if it were a knife in butter and was cooked to medium rare perfection. Served with black and white pepper sauces and accompanied by an oven baked potato and spinach with garlic, it was a treat worth waiting for. The Roasted Rack of Lamb with young potatoes, root vegetables and garlic balsamic jus was also an excellent choice and complemented the fine main course.

Sam’s also has an impressive wine list with wines that complement every dish on the menu. The Australian Beverford Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 was a perfect choice for the evenings
medley of dishes. The dessert wine of Anakena Late Harvest Muscat-Viognier, Limai Valley Chile and the Sam’s Apple and Cheese Cake with layers of biscuit, apple crumble and cheese cake crust were also outstanding enhancements.

It’s show time! With a Flair of the Irish, Irish Coffees were skillfully and majestically prepared at the table.
