This two-storey bar and restaurant with its open front facing the beach is a distinguishing landscape feature with an unparalleled and unique décor and architectural design that communicates sophistication and friendliness. Pieces of recycled timber lining the interior and the arching roof with its steel trusses encompass the open plan of the establishment while red furniture serve to remind you of the Asian theme.

Chef Aaron, who is the Executive Chef of Joe’s Downstairs and Da Maurizio Bar Ristorante and his team have created a double sided menu with an Asian twist to cover all tastes. From the ‘Light & Healthy Side’, there are interesting dishes such as Banana Blossom Salad with chili poached chicken and fresh citrus, exquisite Vietnamese Vegetarian Steamed Dumplings in fragrant porcini broth and Fresh Cucumber, Avocado and Blue Crab Noodle Rolls with mango salsa. From the ‘Hung Fat’s Side’ dishes include Three Pepper Seared Ahi Tuna Steak with garlic chive potato purée and soy/Chinese hot mustard emulsion, Yellow Miso Steamed Chilean Sea Bass with enoki mushrooms and shrimp dumplings in a light soy/Mirin broth, Wok Charred 400 Day Aged Wagyu Beef Tenderloin with teppanyaki marinade and Braised Kale and shaved Daikon Radish just to mention a few.
